Tiny Miniatures
Sheokes Dream Boy aka Bobby, was the first miniature I ever owned and he will be with us forever. He stands at a tiny 29" and is not only short but a very compact little package. It was this that inspired our breeding emphisis to be on Perfect but Tiny.
There are far too many ill bred miniatures available in NZ today, little fat pony's, short legs, long body, big head, not at all attractive. We decided to breed the ideal Tiny miniature horses, small all round, totally in proportion, like a big horse, but in miniature form.
Bobby the begining of this, but when Hallmark graced our lives for the short time he was here, we caught the bug completely and aim to breed something as stunning as him again.
Hallmark was a tiny 26" tall, he was tiny all over and was a hit with young and old. He visited inner city offices taking the lift to the top floor and doing it all in style. Hospitals, Elderly Care Homes, Schools, Kindy's, Birthday Parties and more. This little guy lived in our garage at night and had an amazing presence about him. Sadly he passed away from failed Colic Surgery before his 3rd birthday and we went on to name the farm after him as he had such an impact on all that met him.
Sam - Sheokes Bucks Private Sensation
Currently in our Tiny miniature family we have Hallmarks Half Brother, Sam, who is our up and coming new stud, he is a chestnut and white pinto with the same great nature that Hallmark posessed. Sam wanders inside at every opportunity, happily has lunch with my 2yr old son at the picnic table and plays with his trucks and trains, pushing them across the floor with his muzzle.
Sam is 29" tall so also small and we are looking forward to his offspring in a couple of years time.
Maddie - Sheokes Scouts Maid of Honor
Maddie is 29" or thereabouts and a total doll of a mare, black n white pinto, loves people and has this same special nature that makes these carefully selected 'Tiny's' so endearing. She has been the highlight at many children's parties and has also visited elderly homes and hospitals bringing lots of smiles to many faces.
Honey - Sheokes Touch of Gold
Honey is Hallmark and Sams mum, she is a chestnut mare standing at 30" and although she has stayed in the broodmare paddock most of her life, she has proven herself by producing some outstanding offspring. Her son to Bobby last year no exception, DJ is travelling in the back seat of a car to work each day with his owner, they work at an elderly care home and DJ is as you would expect, a star attraction.
What's so special about a miniature from Hallmark Farm?
EVERYTHING!! You can be assured when you get your Tiny Miniature from us that he/she has been handled with the utmost care. All our foals are handled from birth, they graze on the lawn with us and are stabled every night. They have been covered, hard fed and generally taught to lead and tie up. They are well used to Dogs, Cats, Kids, and other farm life. Will have been regularly wormed and vaccinated.
These Tiny Miniatures are ideal for lifestylers, to be honest they are just about happy enough living in your back yard, why get a dog when you could have one of these. They love to be walked regularly, brushed and cuddled. Reasonably easily toilet trained (yes thats what I said) brilliant eco friendly lawn mowers and offer you free compost for the vege garden as well. Very easy to transport and happy to stay home alone when you are away on holiday...or better yet, take them with you, they love the beach!
These are the perfect pet, paddock ornament (not to be ignored) and other small animal companion to complete your lifestylers dream. All the visiting kids (and adults) will not be able to resist going out to say hello.
